Ok ladies, I've pretty much decided on getting the measuring tape favors after discussing it with my FI on the phone (all he cared about was how big the tape goes, men!) its 5ft long.
Being its on a keychain
1 per couple or 1 per person. Cost isn't the issue between the two.. They are small, so I don't want them to look cheezy on the table. We are still going to put in little boxes some truffles.
Those are SO CUTE!!! I'd say one per person. We all use tape measures for something and there's never one around when you need it!!

Can you do the measuring tape as one per couple and the truffles per person? I think everyone would like the chocolate but agree that one measuring tape per couple is just right.

I agree....the measuring tapes are very cute but will probably be kept in a drawer somewhere....so you should only need one per couple.

Very adorable. Never thought of that and it's definitely something everyone can use. It's small so one per person. Can I have the truffles? YUM!!!

The reason I said one per couple is because... when i get favors...my FH couldn't care less. I'm the one who gets excited.
I'd also get a few extra for those who want to steal another one (they are OUT there!)

man, oh man I really appricate all the help. Its tough when my poll is 50%!!
Also, if you said something different, can you give a reason why?
My goal is to have favors ordered, at least some parts, by the end of the month.

i say one per person if your budget allows. i personally would use it, and i know my fh loves little things that he can actually use, you know guys try to be handy, and it never really works out, but he tries...with a favor that both people can use, id say get one for each
also did you take into consideration the amount of married couples vs singles with dates? if it is a lot of married couples you could do one per couple, but if its a lot of singles, you could do one per person

I have to disagree. We have a regular tape measure and a small one like your proposed favor. We use the small one ALL the time - it is FHs and I am not allowed to steal it (and it has the name of a now defunct family limo company on it). But, I think anyone could find a use for that. If I had my own, I would have it in my desk at work or in my work bag or something. However, I am crafty and anal and I measure stuff a lot. So, I would vote for 1 per person.
