did anyone attend the branford hall program? how is it? is anyone a medical assistant from somewhere else? where are they eligible to work? what is the going salary?

Sanford brown has a good program.....a little more $ then some of the others....they start at somewhere between 9-16 an hour and usually top off at 20 ...we hire med assts at our office!!
im a med asst. and i LOOOOOOOOVE my job althought im back in school for LPN cuz the $$ is better... i went to Western Suffolk Boces.. it was 3400 and 5 months long. it wasnt a bad program but i hear that brandford hall is better but i think its double the $$ and you really learn all the same stuff.. the clinical is just longer. its all what you make it. At my job now i draw blood, ekgs, vitals, front desk(charting, phones billing) , i assist with proceedures. if you have any more ?'s just let me know. the pay is ok.. anywhere from 9-15 an hour. depending on experience.
