Re: mediterranean cruise
That is actually what FH and I were thinking about!!! I'm not sure if we are going to do it only because after all the craziness of a wedding I'm not sure I want to be on a schedule, I would feel like if I relax I will miss something!!! But it is definitely beautiful and looks like a lot of fun! (now I am trying to convince him to just go to Greece)

Re: mediterranean cruise
we love cruises too and we def want to do that one BUT cruises can sometimes not be a relaxing vacation because we want to see ALL the sights and do a lot of excursions. So, we are holding off and not doing one.
But if you both definitely wanna go ahead. Cruises are AWESOME vacations.

Re: mediterranean cruise
FH and I want to do one also but we are getting married in January so it will be freezing out. Besides i dont think the cruises run during that time.
anyways, we decided that we would probably go to Disney World, FL for a few days after the wedding, thats where we got engaged!
Then in the summer, July, we will set up a cruise to the mediterranean.

The Mediterranean is georgeous, but I dont know if I will go on a cruise after all the news I hear about people missing, getting sick, crashing, etc. But if you want to, go for it, its a beautiful place

Re: mediterranean cruise
Cruises can be relaxing too...you really dont have to do all the activities...Theres a bunch of things to do on the ship to accomodate everyones tastes but dont feel you should do alot of them...Honestly FH and i would wake up whenever we wanted, would go eat, usually lunch since we missed breakfast alot lol...then hang out on the deck drink a few beers, then either go shopping, hit the casino or whatever...go to dinner at night and then after we'd go back relax a bit and then go back out, usually the casino, hit the club for a bit...one night we even decided to just watch movies under the stars, it was real nice.
We were there with 10 other people, his family...and they did do alot of the activities, waking up early, doing dance classes, wine tasting, going to see plays after dinner...so if you want to do alot then you can but if you want to relax then you can also do that, thats what FH and i did...I dont regret it at all that we didnt do any of those activities...FH and i had an amazing time just doing our own thing.
Also withthe excurions thing, let me just tell you that first off its not like you will get to do a million things on the island you go visit...Thats what i thought too...you have a few hours at each place, some you get lucky and its longer but honestly some are like 5-6 hours you're there...YOu pick an activity to do there, you sign up from before you even go on the cruise. Some of these activities take 2-3 hours, then you might just have some time to eat or get a few drinks or shop a little. You wont have time to really do more than one activity bc of the times...Theyre all usually around the same time and theres conflicting schedules...So trust me you wont go crazy running around an island doing alot

hmmm i loved the cruise and would recommend one...Europe is great too but depends alot on what type of HM you want...Depending where you go there is alot of sightseeing and running around...If you are looking for a more relaxed vacation then i dont know about that...Maybe if you go to just one place like Capri for example.
I hear amazing things about sandals st.lucia..of course they say great things about hawaii too, hmmm dont know how inexpensive it is though, plus i think its also expensive once you are in hawaii

hmmm i dont know, ive never been there sorry...again heard its great.
But before you keep thinking of a bunch of places ask yourself a few questions to narrow it down.
Do you want a relaxing or adventurous honeymoon?
What is your budget?
these two will help narrow it down by alot lol

Re: mediterranean cruise
I was thinking of doing this as well, but having second thoughts... now I'm looking for vacation/tour packages to Greece... one that includes island hopping for a couple of days. Seems a little more reasonably priced.
Hawaii is amazing, there are plenty of things to do, but you can also just veg out and relax there. That's our second choice after Greece - we've both been there before, but not together and to the same island.
