Mediterranean Cruise

We are looking to do this for our Honeymoon and I know a few girls are doing the same here...can you share what kind of deals you got, what ship, what airline? TIA

Trying to find a good deal that wont break my bank.

not doing this for my HM but i did this a few years ago with a friend (2007)

we flew united airlines into madrid (i think it was about $800 pp) - spent a couple of days in madrid, then went to barcelona for a day. the ship left from barcelona and did 3 or 4 ports in italy, and one in france, and then back to barcelona

it was the norweigian jewel (ship)

we are doing this-

10 night cruise on celebrity equinox- leaves from rome and goes to italy, greece and turkey....costing us about $6,000 for the cruise (could be cheaper, but we went all out with a suite and stuff...its our hm so we splurged lol) and $2,100 for the flights. for each person, its coming out to like a little over $5K, just for the cruise portion. The entire cruise came out to a little over $10K we are sailing with Holland America ont he Noordam out of Rome on June 20 and return to Rome on July 12. The cruise is 20 days long and we visit something like 17 different cities as port of calls.
The flights roundtrip were $3K total and we spent another $4K or so on excursions, beverage packages and spa packages.

if it helps, i know that Costa Cruises have really nice European cruises, generally for about 10 or 11 days and are relatively inexpensive! check them out!

we did, and we know its a lot and we keep getting slack for it from everyone - which kind of annoys me, i must say. but its what we wanted. just like the OP said, we also got a suite room and went all out b/c we know we are not doing anything like this ever again. we'll go on vacation again, we know, but not for this long or this luxurious.
it was between this cruise and a costa cruise actually, the only reason we chose this one was because it was 20 days long and we figured if flights are so expensive, we wouldn't want to pay $3K for only 11 days. but their prices pp were something like $1100 - not bad all and they went to a variety of lovely cities!

We spent less than $5 grand total...I think its actually closer to $4,000, for our direct flight on Delta, hotel for 2 days in Barcelona, and a 7 day cruise...barcelona, france and italy. Its MSC cruise line, and we got a balcony room. We used Tyree Travel Agency in Bethpage. I highly recommend Ester...shes very patient and amazing. FM me if any questions. HTH!

I would give them a call 516-694-9424. Your wedding is in the summer so your trip may be a little more expensive just because of the time of year. Mine is in the fall after the peak season. I can't remember the exact price...I have the contract at home. What details do you want?

My friend did one last year. Surprisingly on disney and iiit was 1300 a person plus their flights to barcelona.

Initially this was what we were going to do and we found very cheap prices. I never use a travel agent becuase I always find cheaper prices, but anyway we decided against it becuz I didn't want to wake up at 7am each day but I still want to do it.

We are going to 5 countries: Italy Greece Spain Turkey and Monaco

We're using points for our flights but I think they would have been around $1K each.

We're going on a Royal Caribbean 11 night cruise to Rome, Sicily, Istanbul for two nights (was Egypt but they rerouted), Ephesus Turkey, Athens, Crete Greece, Rhodes Greece and 3 at sea days. We were orginally paying $4600 for a balcony room but the prce dropped to $3800! So we saved $800! And we're staying in Rome two nights after.
