Mediterreanean Manor Showcase - go or make private 1:1 consultation?

I'm thinking about going to the showcase -- just wondering what would be the difference between going to this and making an appointment for a 1:1 consultation?

We have only browsed RHs online or in magazines at this point. We haven't yet ventured INSIDE lol.

Help!

What goes on typically when you do an initial consultation?

Showcases are fun. You'll get to see what the venue looks like, you'll probably sample some food, and will have the opportunity to get some info from other wedding vendors. But if you're really interested in the venue, you'll definitely wantto set up an actual appointment. That's where you'll get more in-depth info as far as pricing, availability, menu, etc.

I'd do showcase first get a feel for the place and then if you like it and the food go back and discuss numbers

Ditto. This way if you don't like it, you can walk right out. But if you're interested in booking, you'll definitely want to schedule an appointment to talk numbers and dates. You won't be able to negotiate at a showcase, and you certainly won't get the undivided attention that you'll want if you decide to book. But at the showcase, you can get a good feel of how the place runs, maybe some of the food, and definitely some of their preferred vendors.
