Bud tries to play with her like he plays with FH's parents' Lab, but he is too big and strong for her since she's still a puppy. At first, she'd avoid him, and then she would start to make a nasty face at him, showing her teeth. Now I see her going to jump on him and play! Her breed needs to be socialized with other dogs young to get along with them, so it's good if they interact with each other.

ETA: How old is she? I noticed the rawhide in one of the pcitures and depending on how old she is, you need to be careful about letting her have rawhide.

She's a Dogue de Bordeaux aka French Mastiff. She's about 5 months old. I don't know how we can keep her from the rawhide. Those are Bud's bones. I'll have to see if I can find safer bones for both of them to play with. Or just give it to Bud when she's in her crate.
She's not a new mixed breed, although I think her breed came about a long time ago either from the Bullmastiff or Tibetan Mastiff, not sure.

Oh...try the harder cow bones...the ones that have the flavor coating or flavored fillings in them...our rottie can only chew on rawhide or these bones since she mutilates every other toy!!

One of my friends had a French Mastiff and she had the calmest demeanor I have ever seen on any animal.
