Hi everyone, I'm about to start meeting with pastors and I'm wondering do they have a meeting before you decide to book or should I just call and do they give me prices, etc over the phone? It's probably nice to meet in person though before deciding! I just don't want to make appointments and waste everyone's time if that's not how they do things. TIA!

I think it's always nice to meet someone in person, so you can have a good feel of how they are and you can discuss how your want your ceremony to be. Most pastors will gladly meet with you without having the pressure to book with them. HTH!

Re: Meeting Pastors
I spoke with Rev. Nick twice on the phone and then FH & I met with him on a sat to sit down and the three of us could talk. Loved him, booked him that day.

Ok thanks! I didn't want the expectation or pressure of having to book... I usually don't take my time and I book immediately so I'm trying to be better about that!

Same with me except I'm meeting with someone different but I spoke to her at an expo and loved her (she was there sharing a booth with Pastor April). I hate to just book stuff immediately but it seems easy to do all this research online first and you get to know what you want.

Re: Meeting Pastors
Question for all you ladies who recommend Pastor April - we were thinking of having her marry us, but I haven't checked around too much for pricing. Do you think her pricing is the usual for officiants? It was more than we had planned to spend, but idk what the norm is. We liked her personalized section so I think the full custom would probably be worth it, loved her in the videos.
