So when I booked with s*ilverf*ox I met with the owner john....tonight we're actually meeting our main and second photographers so I'm excited...I'm going to bring my tablet to hopefully open my pinterest page to share sample photos I like...

so i actually met with my main and photojournalistic photogs...i was nervous because our main sort of has NO personality...i figured it may just be his artsy personality more than anything...buuut FH was very skeptical and actually anxious until we met our PJ photog who was like listen he's doing your portraits, he's going to style you, tell you how to look and when, etc...he said he has some of the best albums in the company and not to worry...so whew...that made us feel better...plus our PJ is really awesome and down to earth...so im excited for him...we're supposed to be having our engagement shoot with our main, but we may switch and use our PJ shooter instead...just can't see myself spending a whole with someone who is totally unenthusiastic...haha

I know what you mean...their personality is something that is extremely important since you will be spending pretty much the entire day with them. You have to feel comfortable with them. See if you can use the PJ for your e-shoot. I'm sure they will work something out for you!

yea she said i could do the weekend day (which really was our pref because then we don't have to take off work) with the main or the weekday with the PJ....i'm just worried that maybe im making the wrong decision using the PJ for our engagement shoot because then the day of, our main hasn't really had any time/practice shooting us....i mean my best friend just got married and she didn't even have an e-shoot...what do you think?

i say go with your pj photog for the e-shoot, because the posed pictures he's done before, even if not with you two..the pj will be able to get a better feel for your personality and then use that the day of

i would go with PJ too.... if your personalities mesh better than you'll pose better. and i personally rather have a photojournalist photog for my e-shoot than a portrait photog. will give it a more edgy, modern causal feeling rather than posed. HTH good luck, just did mine was soooo much fun lol
