I'm so excited! Tonight we're going up to the church and meeting the pastor who will be marrying us. Since we're not members we've never been there and I can't wait to step foot inside the place I will marry my best friend.
How did you swing finding a church when you're not a member? I'd love a church wedding, but I was told that unless you're already a member, no matter the denomination, finding one would be next to impossible. I do know that Unitarian churches will allow it, but I'd actually like some religion in my ceremony.
We're using a Methodist church. All I did was call and ask and they were very surprised that we had been turned away at other places. Try Methodist and Episcopalian churches, most are open to non members.
