I have my first floral appointment and I don't know what I should be asking. I'm bringing pictures for inspiration but am unsure of what I should be asking them, things I need to know, etc? Any ideas?

How many parties do they do in a day? How many delivery trucks? Set up fee? When do u see samples for ur wedding? Is there another flower in this color that will keep cost down

my fmil gave me the book bridal bargains and it gave a very distributing piece of advise! flower shops are one of those places that don't have prices on things so when they hear wedding they jack up the price! a former florist employee told them a story about how she was trained to charge customers based on appearance! NOT KIDDING! they told her if they drive a Mercedes and carry a Louie bag charge them more then someone driving a dodge with a no name purse! so thier advice was if your looking to save money don't show that u have it basically!
as for questions I think they recommend asking if they have more then one wedding do they have more then one delivery person! that's all I can remember right now!

get a super detailed quote and each item should have its own cost. we ended up getting a lump sum from spitz & peck and changed a lot of the arrangements/flowers based on samples they did for us and in the end we ended up overpaying IMO. if we could point specifically to what was removed/added on it would have been easier at the end.
