FH and I are meeting with a band singer tonight. This is the first one we are meeting with. Does anyone have any tips, suggestions, anything in particular we should be looking for or asking??

If you end up booking, def have them write the band members' names on your contract! You want to make sure the band that you listen to, is the band at your wedding!

are you paying for them all to eat, if so, that could be a big expense ( like 500 bux). My band isn't getting fed for whatever reason (they stated in our first meeting we dont have to supply meal).

Ask how many pieces you get? What happens if there is an emergency or a member is sick the day of? Do they walk around the room and sing or stay put (its usually your preference). Can they perform any songs not on their list? (Some bands will take up to 5 requests).

Well we met with the lead singer tonight and we LOVED him. FH told me to call him as we were driving home to drop off the contract. I think it's a pretty good deal, it's a 4 piece band with two vocalists (1 male 1 female). It also includes the DJ who also does MCing. For 5 hours $4600.
