Sooo we are finally meeting with the church tn at 7! Can you believe we went and filled out the marriage packet the week after Thanksgiving and they just got back to us last week?? I'm still amazed how long that took. Especially since they said we'd be getting a call the following week. I'm a ball of nerves right now... just needed to vent a lil... thanks for listening lol

You know I am still waiting for my church and I talked to them the first week in January. The sec actually told me that 2013 isn't a priority right now. I am considering looking elsewhere but maybe all churches work like that?

We met with the Deacon last night and it was so simple and we got the date we wanted hahah (we had booked the reception already which was why I was nervous in the first place) SO ITS OFFICIAL 4-19-13!! AHHHHHH!!! I'm soo psyched!
Church - CHECK! Reception - CHECK!!
So like I said earlier we filled out the marriage packet the week after Thanksgiving. We were told we would get a call the following week. Which never came. I started to freak out a little bit by mid-December. I couldn't stop worrying that the day would be taken... I called and left a voice mail. Which was never returned. Then FH and I kept saying to each other ok they'll call after the holidays. Still no call. So I sent him down to the church last week and when he spoke to the receptionist at the parish center he said she looked so embarrassed and said you're not the first couple to have to follow up on us like this. She apologized and the following day the Deacon called us.
WHEW BIG SIGH of relief!!

I waited three weeks and freaked so I called back, and they joked saying I was really ready! Now the issue is my fiances mom would like me to look at her church. since i do not attend church regularly I said I would. Hopefully I can go look at it this weekend. Good thing both churches are in my neighborhood.
Im conflicted. I like my inside but hate the outside.
My Fiances church not a fan of the inside but a better outside.

Keep calling. That's what I did. My coworker had to do the same thing with her church too.
