I just spoke with my parish priest and FH and I have to meet with him on Monday before he will even tell us if the date we are looking at is available!!! He said he will talk with us and then see if he will give us his blessing to get married!!
I am sooo nervous!!!! What do you think he is going to ask us?!

Yikes! Good luck! You just reminded me I have to call my priest... I called earlier in the month and he told me to call back in a few weeks!

When we met with him he just talked to us about our plans and when we had in mind and about us in general, he explained the process and what we were responsible to take care of. Then we set the date. It was very laid back and casual. Don't worry about it!

i was nervous to meet with the priest to but there really is no reason to be. they just ask questions like how long you've known eachother, what plans you have for the future, what sacraments you have received and where...nothing scary

How long did it take for your priest to call you back? I called on Monday and I still have not heard anything
