i did precana and now im supposed to meet with the priest. but for what? the church lady wouldnt explain it to me. all she said was its a 'prenuptial thing' wt eff
My priest told us that he is going to ask some things about what we experienced and then help us plan our ceremony and rehearsal. He didn't make it seem like he was going to go into detail about anything.

My deacon has met with us about 3 times, and will meet with us another time before the wedding. It's partly to plan the ceremony, and partly to get to know you better. He is marrying you, and most priests/deacons feel a sense of responsibility to make sure that you're really on the same page with important things and truly ready to make this commitment. It was informal, and we've had a good time chatting with our deacon.
i'm doing this next week. we just finished precana. i know we're supposed to bring some pprwork in for him but....not sure what we'll be talking about in the meeting.....
