I am so sorry :( That is terrible. If I am not mistaken, by law you have to take at least a 30 min lunch if you work full time. It is illegal for her to make you work through your lunch.

omg, i'm so sorry that you're dealing with such crap on your day back!! that's so awful. your boss is so obviously just a miserable lonely person that has picked you to make herself feel better about her s*cky life.

i can only say that things always have a way of working out (thought often not when we want them to) and keep your chin up even though it is really hard. whenever you feel like crying, take a minute and think about the bliss you were blessed with this past weekend and let that warm you up a little before you face whatever crap she deals out to you. you're so much stronger than her. and in the meantime, just keep venting to the girls here. so many of us know EXACTLY how it feels and can offer hugs and an ear!

If you think you are REALLY beig harassed, amke some notes.

8:55 am - got in. boss was waiting at my desk. Wanted to know why i wasnt 15 min early. asked for 3 reports that are due on friday, but wanted them by end of day

11;00- went to bathroom. boss waiting at desk when I got back to ask me where I was and where was the TPS report.

First, I hope you get the reference to 'Office space' and have a laugh over it.

But if you dont document whats going on you have NOTHING to go to HR with. Do NOT go to HR unless you are willing to go through with all the stuff that will entail. One thing being retaliation..which then you have a bona fie lawsuit!!!!

But if you dont document it, you have nothing.

But do NOT document it on your computer. Get a pad and keep it in your purse.

Thats the problem with this economy... people think they can treat you like ____. And they can because you are afraid to quit. Its so aggravating. Not me personally (I don't have a job at the moment since I just finished student teaching) but I see it with my friends and FH.

I totally hear you Nikki ... Your mom is right dont let them get to you.. the best thing you can do, is do the things she tells you to do and pretend to be happy about it.. that will drive your boss crazy!

Please don't let this b*tch from hell get to you it's so not worth you being upset/sad over her being probably jealous and miserable with her own life. If you are going on a HM just think of how wonderful it's going to be, if you are not just think of the happy and wonderful stuff you are going to be doing with your DH.

so sorry to hear. people are just heartless. people just stopped caring about others feelings. i dont understand how its become so cold. just pray about finding a new job. in the meantime just take comfort that you will get out soon and that this is just a blink of an eye in your life when you look back during your happy life.

wow!!!!!! nikki im so sorry that u have to deal with such a holes...just close ur eyes every once in a while and think back to friday..thinkabout how gorgeous u looked,how much fun u had,and how u have a new dh..

hope u feel better and now we def have to go out again so we can drown our sorrows in some nice drinks

Is is possible to start dabbling in looking for another job? If this place is really miserable... start looking for something better.

I would do this, too. Document, document, DOCUMENT.

Oh Nikki, I am so sorry to hear you are going through this on your first day back at work!!! It sounds like that woman is a heartless person who is taking out her own shortcomings on you.

I don't want you to feel like you can't get through the day without tears!! The good thing is that time passes, no matter what, and at the end of the day you will go home to your DH and be in the magical wonderful world that is your REAL life!! She'll get over it and your work will get done. As hard as it is, try to let it roll off...
