just got home from my second dress fitting and i feel like the dress was nicer than i remembered, but just not 'wow'. i feel like i could have gotten the same 'wow factor' out of a dress that costs 1/2 the price i paid
i hope it looks better in 3 weeks when i have my 2nd fitting
oh, and the $55 longline bra i just bought 2 days ago shows so i have to return it ... and my shoes were already hurting me even though i was only wearing them 1/2 hour .... AND i got into a mini argument with my mom
all-in-all, it was awesome

big fat ITA! I felt as if I was standing on 2 very high toothpicks, on the day of I didnt even need to change into lower heel shoes I felt so comfortable
and it never looks nice enough on the 1st fitting, just wait till ur 2nd or the last one! plus when the dress isnt ironed out yet it doesnt look as good, so dont worry

Re: meh
dont worry youll feel beautiful on your wedding day and all the costs will be worth it. and so the ceremony is only what... a half hour? wear them and then chuck them out the window for the reception

Re: meh
that stinks. I'm sure you look beautiful and have that WOW factor. If the shoes are that bad maybe it;s worth investing in a second pair for comfort

I'm sorry you are feeling this way but it is probably just a bit of nerves! Standing in one place will kill your feet no matter what your wearing....and I'm sure your dress is gorgeous!!

Re: meh
When I first started my fittings, I didn't fully love my dress until the final fitting~I think that's normal and like Barb said about the shoes, standing in one spot, shoes are not going to be too comfy. Don't worry~everything will be fine

Aawww, don't sweat, it happens to all of us. I bought 2 long line bras & never wore either. And the day of the wedding, you may not even notice your feet hurting until after everything is done.

Re: meh
i basically cried through my entire first fitting. nothing seemed right and i was sure that everything would be awful. i got blisters from my shoes after 5 minutes, my entire body was sweating, i didn't love the dress, and i thought that i would be ugly and uncomfortable on the day of. TOTALLY the opposite. i'll admit that i took off my shoes about an hour and a half into the reception (2 1/2 including the cocktail hour), but otherwise, everything was perfect, i loved my dress, and i hardly even sweated. in my opinion, first fittings just $uck, but don't let it get to you.
