Is anyone planning to see this? Without knowing anything about the plot, I know that lots of beatings and blood splatter will be invovled.
But I read one positive review and one poor review so I don't know what to think of it. Except that Mel Gibson made it and refuse to give that man any $$$ by buying tickets for it.

I can't watch anything that's like beatings violent. However I love horror movie violence. Punch a guy, I get upset. Stick his hand in a blender and I'm fine.

no.
I didn't see The Passion either.
Not my thing.
I wouldn't support his work though, if it was my thing.

No Passion for me, either.
Can I just say that I don't know how to feel about me being a related topic.

I can't wait to flip back and forth between Apocalypto and Growing Pains reruns next winter. I will not be seeing this in the theater.

Well, that sells it for me. I don't read. ESPECIALLY when I'm busy watching a movie.

I personally like Mel Gibson and I think the Passion was made really with the exception of a little too much blood splatter for my taste ... other than that the movie was beautiful. I think Mike wants to go see this one as well.

Same here. DH and I would have loved to have been able to see it, but then we found out who made it.
