Memorial Candle Lighting...which song did you/will yo uuse?
We're lighting a memorial candle at our Mass and I wanted to chose a song to be sung or played whie we do this but I'm having trouble choosing one. Any suggestions...other than Ave Maria (that song makes my mom sob...don't really want that to happen!)

We used Largo from Vivaldi's Guitar Concerto in D. It's a beautiful piece of music, but there's no singing.

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I was just thinking...how about that song 'The Prayer' Do you think we'd be able to use that? Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli sing in, but I'd have the singer sing it in one part if it could be used.
