Memorial Candle Poems?

I'm making my own memorial candles. I'll have one for FH grandma, one for my dad, and one with a poem/verse on it to recognize everyone else who can't be there. Here's my problem...I don't know what to put on that one! I'm no good with nice sounding words. I know some of you ladies have done your own candles. I need help! TIA ladies!!!!

This is what I put. I listed all the names below the poem.

In Loving Memory

Those we love don’t go away
They walk beside us everyday
Unseen, unheard, but always there
Still missed, still loved and very dear.

Please forgive my naiveness. Do you just print on vellum/translucent paper? When the candle burns doesn't it ruin the paper, or do you use a special candle?

I really want to do this but can't get past the paper melting/burning with the candle.

Sorry for the ridiculous question...appreciate the help.

There are certain candles you can get that only the inside burns and leaves a shell...
