i know everyone has a different situation and it's totally my call and i should do what i want, but did you include every single family member/friend that passed away or only those that really meant the world to you?

everyone's situation is definitely different but we are doing a pretty basic memorial candle and then putting photos of loved ones we've lost around it
in my situation, so many have passed, we're only putting our grandparents and FH's sister on the table. if we extended it to aunts/uncles/cousins, etc. the table would be covered in photos

Crashing....
I get where you're coming from. I also have many members that have passed over the years. I am planning on putting together a memory table with several diy personalized candles. I am including first gen. family only (ie sister grandparents and aunts...not great aunts and uncles)

i want to include photos as well, but unfortunately, i've lost a lot of family members and i don't want it to look like a shrine.

why not gather photos of a bunch of people u want to honor and instead get one collage frame and put them in there? that way it's only one frame on the table iwth the candle

Re: memorial candle question
I am not putting names on the candle either. We are doing our grandparents pics and I got small candles that I will just have lit on the table with rose pettles and a poem.
