Re: memorial candle sayings/poems!
this is a thread i used to find one. i might have even taken lines from different ones HTH!!
I hit on this in my response to a previous post, but you could use lyrics from a song as well- 'Special Angel', 'Candle in the Wind', 'The Best is Yet to Come', perhaps a religious song, etc.

Re: memorial candle sayings/poems!
Not sure if you are Christian or religious? I actually put a quote from the bible John 11:25-26 (I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me will never die) because it is a hopeful thought - that the spirit lives on. And then I had my brother and father's names and it said 'Forever in our hearts and celebrating with us today in spirit'
thanks girls... keep them coming, its helping - hehe!!

In Loving Memory
Those we love don’t go away They walk beside us everyday Unseen, unheard, but always there Still missed, still loved and very dear.

Re: memorial candle sayings/poems!
This is what i used, but i put it in a frame next to a candle during the reception.
We thought of you with love today But that is nothing new We thought about you yesterday And days before that too We think of you in silence We often speak your name Now all we have is memories And your picture in a frame Your memory is our keepsake With which we'll never part God has you in his keeping We have you in our hearts In Loving Memory of
