memorial candle wording !!

i have been looking for memorial candle wording i found this saying what do you girls think didnt want anything too sad!!

I’d like the memory of me
to be a happy one,
I’d like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done..
I’d like to leave an echo
whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve,
to dry before the sun,
Of happy memories that I leave behind

I think this is really sweet! And now I'm regretting not setting something up for my wedding coming up this weekend, esp. since my grandfather just passed away last month.

I'm using something I've seen a few girls use (sorry for the blatant plagiarizing! ) Short, sweet and simple.

The light from these candles shine
for those that could not be with us today:
(names)
They are in our hearts on our wedding day
and always,
to bless us in spirit
as we begin our lives together.

im so sorry for your loss...why not just get a candle and have someone say something..say a priest or just print out something from the computer

I like it.

I made my mem candle and it was something along the lines of

this light shines for so and so who is with us in spirit to bless us on our wedding day. I wish I remembered all the words to it.
