I was thinking it might be a nice idea to have a memorial candle set up at the reception for our Mother's who have both passed. We did not want to do anything during the ceremony since we knew it would bring us both to tears, and possibly make a few guests sad, but I was thinking this may be a good option. What do you think?

Re: Memorial candles??
I think this is a great idea. You could surround the candle with pictures of your mothers. It's a nice way to acknowledge them without getting to upset.

Re: Memorial candles??
My grandmother and my FHs parents are no longer with us and thats what we are doing. We didnt want to get even more upset then will already will be without them there.
we are doing something similar for our relatives who are no longer with us. We'll be getting a floating memorial candle engraved with 'In Loving Memory' and then have some pictures of them around it.
