Memorial charm

My MOH just surprised me with a memorial charm for my bouquet. She had one in her bouquet two years ago, in honor of her mom, and remembered how I had commented on how special I thought that was. I lost my dad suddenly in a freak accident while he and my mom were on vacation nearly 15 months ago. We were very close and not having him here for my wedding has been weighing heavy on my heart--especially now that I'm in the planning stages and have been taking my mom everywhere with me. So, this thoughtful little gesture got me balling like a baby. I had planned to do a memorial candle for my dad at the reception and to have his picture in a frame on a reserved seat at the ceremony, but I really loved this charm idea and wanted to share.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad :( I think it's such a lovely idea! I want to do the same on my bouquet, but I want my grandparents on mine. Would you know how I would go about finding the charm?

So sorry to hear about your dad. I can't even imagine how hard it is to plan a wedding without him. That was such a sweet gesture from your friend.

I'm really sorry for your loss. But I think that your MOH was so thoughtful to do that for you, it shows that she not only knows how important your dad is to you, but also wants to honor him, too.

I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. I am actually ordering these charms for my friend and I saw in Pinterest they have the charms that you can tie to your shoe so your dad can still walk you down the isle. Just another idea for your memorial charm.
