Memorial Table

I was thinking of doing a memorial table for my father who passed away 5 years ago. I was thinking of making a candle, a picture frame with a family photo, and maybe another with a poem or a quote. I want everything to be made by me or a family member because it has a special meaning.

Has anyone started any DIY memorial projects?

i plan on doing something similar to this!

I didnt do a whole table but at the table with my husband and I we had two DIY'ed memory candles that I had made. Our candles mostly had our grandparents names as well as my one uncle who had passed away. But 7 years ago I also had lost my 16 year old cousin to Muscular Dystrophy.

What we did was made a donation in his honor to his scholarship fund as our favors, so when people walked it there was a whole explaination and a picture of him next to the table seating cards. My MD took that photo and placed it next to us at the table. I didnt plan it out but it was definitely a special touch that I had his picture at the table with us.

I think a whole table of pictures is a beautiful idea.
