Is anybody doing a memory candle or something similar to that at your wedding ceremony? My Cousin was killed in a car accident 4 years ago and I wanted to do something special for her in church. She would have been my MOH. This has really been a tough time for me and I really want to do something special so people remember her.

I saw a bride with rosary beads twined in her bOK. She had one of those picture rosary's with a pic of her lost one. I thought that was touching.

I'm very sorry for your loss. My mother passed away a couple years ago, I am using this at the church. I figured it is nice, because I can keep putting fresh flowers in it after the wedding.
yes..i too lost my father to lou gehrigs disease and its so hard for me to even think about not having him walk me down the aisle.
but i have my grandpa!!
what i will be doing is at every table, putting memory candles with a note that says my fathers name and a nice lil poem.
its sooooooooo hard to have people so close to you pass away and you are getting married.
Ugh it is soo hard!!

The Vase is beautiful too. Are you having that your ceremony? Maybe I can do that and have flowers that match my moh's Bo-k in it.
ETA: needed to correct spelling.

I am really sorry for your loss.
I went to a wedding recently and the bride's father had passed away a few years before. The minister mentioned her father and grandparents who had passed during one of the prayers in the ceremony. It was a really nice blessing.

We are using this . My mother and Fh father both passed away when we were young. We will put flowers matching my bok in it. I will also attach a picture of her to my bok.

Re: Memory Candle or ideas
We did a memory table at the reception. On it we put a pic of my mom with a corsage in front, a pic of FH's grandma with a corsage in front, and a pic of my best friend who would have been a bridesmaid and had a mini bouquet placed in front for her. At the end of the night we gave the bouquet to my friend parents, moms corsage to my dad, and grandmas corsage to FH grandpa.

I've heard of people using bells during the ceremony to signify their losses. So the bride and groom would ring the bell once for each significant person that they lost....
