Did anyone do this? I want to do one for my mother and then have ava maria played. Do they do that (let you play a song) or do they just mention the person?

We plan on lighting a memory candle for my mom too at the beginning of the ceremony. Ave Maria would make me burst out in tears so I think we are staying away form that. i am also including something in the program

alot of people i cant think of some off the top of my head> i know celine dion (not my favorite version) sings it. ummmmm i just looked we have it downloaded a few that sing it are: Maria callas, jewel, bach, josh groban,luciano pavarotti......I love this song and i know for a fact it will make me cry. PK2be....never thought of the program..good thinking!

I'm doing the memory candle for my mom too. We're using that candle to light the taper candles we will use to light the unity candle. We're also dedicating our mass to her and I'm going to put a special dedication in our programs.

We are doing the candle for my brother also at the beginning of the ceremony, and i feel the same way about ava maria, my cousin sang it at my brothers funeral, i cant listen to it at all.

E bay has beautiful memorial candles. I plan to put it on the place card table with a picture of my mom next to it.
