Memory candles
where would you put the memory candle? and do you do one for grandparents?

i'm doing ONE for my grandparents (with their names listed and a nice saying)
then i'm doing ONE for vin's grandparents (with their names listed and a nice saying)
then we are doing ONE for a very special friend (he passed away young and was very special to both vinny and i- we also believe he is the reason we are together) so he gets his own... with his name, dates and a special saying. (we are also doing a donation to MADD in his name)
that is it for us...
We are going to have the memory candles placed up by the alter somewhere (not sure exactly where) but either on it our around it and then when we light our unity candle we will also do a memory candle lighting and something will be said for those who are not present.

My sister did these herself ( & I will be doing the same) She had them displayed inside the reception room by the guestbook....
she made them with vellum and double sided tape

I am doing memory candles...two for my grandparents and two for Rick's grandparents. I am thinking about putting them somewhere around the guest book

I am only doing ONE. I am just putting 'In LOving Memory Of. . . . ' and listing everyone's names (FH's mom at the top, then our grandparents and two uncles that have passed). It will be on the altar during Mass and then it will be lit for the reception as well where it will be either on the cake table or our sweetheart table.

we did two- one for my grandmother and one for FH's father and we are putting them by the guestbook- you can see pics in my album
