men are stupid.
So for father's day, I got the man 4 tickets to a football game he's been whining about for MONTHS. 4--->him, me, the kids.
When I gave him the gift, I said: you can choose who to take. (with a grin on my face...it will be labor day weekend) i figured he'd make a family thing out of it.
WRONG.
he chose friends and his dad.![]()
now, they are his tickets to decide who goes....but come on? i even offered to go!
to top it all off:
DH: i think i'll try to get 2 more tickets b/c A and B might want to go and they might be hurt that I didn't ask them.....
OK...I tried to make this a gift (since it will require a hotel and eatingout) that came close to the mother's day gift he gave me. he's going to double the friggin price! i told him if he couldn't figure out 3 people and his other friends DEAL with not being invited (i mean, we're not 8 years old) that I would sell the tickets.
Besides, I was a little hurt to be bumped off like that considering how few 3 day weekends there are left in the year that aren't major holidays where we will have family functions to attend.
I should've just gotten him a tie.![]()
