Mens Wearhouse S U C K S!!!!!!(long sorry)

we have family and GM from all over so to avoid any problems we chosed MW for the tuxes.

my step father is a larger man and very self conscious about how he looks, esp in social situations...... the sales girl who measured him assured him that he would look good.....

forward to today, the tux is in and he goes to pick it up...

the pants come to capri length something they can do nothing about but try to rush order another pair, the jacket hangs off him at the shoulders and sleeves and he is miserable

i know this is hard for him and i really hope they can fix it, in the meantime my mom is taking him to a local place to see about getting another pair of pants and new jacket and then he will just use the vest and tie from MW, but what a pain in the A S S!!!!!!!!!

I hope he feels better about himself and how looks for the wedding, i want him to be happy and comfortable

Yea, wedding is in 3 days FH still is missing jacket to tux. They sent the wrong one TWICE

I've heard this about Men's Wearhouse before. I'm sorry you're having this problem. They better fix it for you.

Oh no!!! I'm sooo sorry you're going through this.

We're planning to use MW because our GM's are in NJ, Queens and LI. Some of my guys are BIG guys...Fh is 6'3' and one of his bro's is 6'8'

I'm soo sorry that you are having those problems. We used them and they we gems to work with. After the wedding is over and all the stress is gone, if I were you I'd write a letter to their corporate headquarters and see if you can get a little reimbursement for your aggravation.

ughh wat a pain. We are actually going to the one in queens tom. for FH, his dad and 2 of his groomsmen. His BM and RB are going to LI... i really hope we don't have this problem... just one more stress to add to the list.

Ahhh! We're doing the guys' tuxes thru MW. I really hope they don't screw it up. I don't know what we'd do.

Yes they do SUCK!!!!. We had problems with them also, and one of the managers had the nerve to tell my DH that he doesn't like dealing with crying brides. The nerve. The only reason why I have not walked in there and gave him a piece of my mind is because I don't want to get arrested. LOL!!! I was so pissed when DH told me this. And the reason was because they were charging us a rush fee when they weren't supposed to and I called and bitched at them and DH went to get the $$ back. And then my GM didn't get his tux in until the day before our wedding. I am so bashin them in my review.

My FSIL had the same problem with a GM in her wedding. When he got measured he was much heavier and by the time the wedding rolled around he had lost a ton of weight and the tux was literally falling off of him. The store was able to measure him again and have a new tux sent overnight from a store in Texas to be delivered on the day of the wedding.

They will pull strings for you... esp. if they're the one's that messed up.

You should go in and tell him that he won't have to worry, it won't be the bride crying.

Ugh I hate them and would never go there...when FH first started working a a few years back he bought a suit there it was altered terribly and look awful..hate them sorry about your experience !

did u go to the one in huntington?? this is exactly what happened to DH & GMs!! read my review... they NEVER fixed anything & DHs tux was the wrong size the day of

that's exactly why my dad decided to buy a tux. MW is fine if your guys are basically regular sizes, but my dad is a Portly Short and MW doesn't rent anything like that. He bought a tux that looked much better on him for not much more $$ and just rented the vest and tie from MW. Highly recommend doing this!
