mens wedding band question..

hey ladies.. what kind of bands did you guys get for the guys? im seeing different metals like titatium and such. whats better and what did you get?

DH is an EMT & firefighter, so he has 2. The regular one - it's rose gold and white gold, and a work one that is Tungsten Carbine - it's one of the hardest medals so it doesn't get scratched while he was at work, and it was only like $30!

I got DH white gold. My rings are white gold so I wanted them to match. Also, white gold isn't very expensive and my DH loses things like it's his job. He actually lost his wedding band within 24 hours of our wedding... but he found it again!

I had one really nice platinum band made at Elegant Jewelers at the Attias Flea Market....I got an AWESOME deal...

I bought another Tungsten one on overstock.com....and it was the best buy ever! So inexpensive, and FH can wear it for more casual occasions.

I bought him Tiffany Lucida 6mm in platinum. We'll be getting matching Tungsten rings too though. Not sure from where but maybe amazon.com. We saw a pair there for really cheap a while back.

I bought FH his from here too! His is yellow and brushed white gold. he is an accountant, so he dosen't really do anything that would damage the ring and he already wears a yellow gold ring that was his grandfathers

the prices for the tungstens are so inexpensive.. makes me feel bad that my stuff costs so much and his is not lol.

does anyone know if they can engrace the tungstens?
