Menu and/or program poll...

How many of you girls are doing menus and/or programs? I haven't actually been to that many weddings, so I don't know how common these are.

i am doing both. i am designing them myself in fonts that match our ordered invitations.

edit: our hall provides their own menus, but i didnt like the way they looked. i wanted to make my own to tie in color and use our pretty fonts

i'm planning to have both done. Its a nice added touch and it would be nice that i actually did it myself. You can get alot of ideas from here

We only did the programs and went with the menus that were provided by our RH.

We didnt do either...no patience and not in the mood. When I finally decided to do them everyone told me they were a waste.

I think it depends, to each his own I guess

I am doing programs, but am deciding on menus when I see what the RH menus look like. Sometimes they are decent and I'm ok with putting my time and money elsewhere.

We're definitely doing menus, not sure yet about programs (but they are a nice touch)...neither are difficult to do by yourself if you're worried about costs

Oops, I misread (OK didn't read...) the poll before choosing an answer!

I thought you were wondering which you should buy... so I checked off programs only.

We're having menues and programs, but the RH provides the menus, so we're only buying programs. If the RH didn't provide menus... we'd still be only buying programs

HTH! And don't forget to subtract 1 from programs only and add it to menus and programs lol

I'm doing both DIY. Its pretty common these days; most wedding I've been to lately have had at least programs.

I'm not sure about the programs, i dont think people would even realize if they were not there.

I'm just using the menus the hall provides b/c they usually get ruined right away or people just kinda throw them around. I dont want to waste more money on things that are only going to be used for a minute

I just started making my menu's... I would like to make programs but I am going to wait until last minute and see how much time I have left to do them. They are last on my list.
