Does your hall offer this? Are you doing it? For those of you ladies who dont know what I am talking about it is when the app & salad courses are combined. I like the idea because i dont want to spend half the party taking dinner orders Here are the ones we are considering: 1) Grilled Baby Vegetables with Prosciutto and Fresh Mozzarella 2) Marinated Shrimp over Micro Greens OR 3) Grilled Sirloin(served chilled) with Gorgonzola & Bacon over Bibb Lettuce. Please let me know what you think and which choice you would make. Thanks

Re: Menu ? - App / Salad Combos
I would choose #1. I think it is the safest choice, meaning most people will like it. Not all people eat fish and not all people eat meat.

I agree. #1 sounds like the safest choice.

My hall offers this as well. They call it a duet and I think FI are going to do it because it is really cool and the choices are nice.

Re: Menu ? - App / Salad Combos
We had a duet course and it was very nice. One thing to think about is whether you have a lot of Jewish (or, for that matter, Muslim) guests who won't be able to eat the prosciutto or bacon in 1 & 3. Is there an option with chicken?

We are doing this too with some type of chicken and portobello mushroom over the salad. There will always be someone who doesn't like what you choose, so I tried to get something that everyone could at least eat part of ( eat the salad if they don't like the chicken, or pick around the mushrooms like I do and eat the rest).

i say #1 however i'm also a vegetarian and i would suggest that you have a couple made up without the prociutto, just in case.
