Menu Card Dilemma - HELP

We are running low on cash and I am def. doing menu cards. We are having them printed in color. It is way to expensive to print one for every guest and the menu card holders get costly combines with getting the cards printed.

My question is: Is it okay if we print 4 menu cards per table and put them on random place settings and the table can share?

I think if you have 8-person tables of mostly couples, it would be fine. Otherwise I'm sure people would figure it out. If you're worried about everyone having one, can you skip the menu card holders and just have the menus placed on the plates at the RH?

we're gonna do 2 per table...one at each end.

Why don't you make it a DIY project.

I tried but we don't have enough color ink and it costs the same amount tfor the ink as it does to just have them printed on a laser printer at staples (which comes out nicer)

maybe do one at every other seating and skip the holders and have them put on the plate.

Denise,
I think four menus at each table would be perfect. Even if you did two menus at each table that should also be perfect.

Why not just put 1 per table have it by your centerpiece.

I think 4 per table is fine. You can even skip the menu card holders and have them place in on the table by the plates.

Depending how many people you have at a table, I think 2 to 4 per table would be fine.

You definitely do not need holders for the menus - they can put them up against the glasses or the CPs etc.

2-4 per table should be perfect.

We're doing 1 per person. I am designing them in Word, two per 8.5x11 sheet of paper. I need 125 menus. So that's 63 sheets printed. At staples, the color prints are $.59 each so times 63 prints it will come out to $37.17. Not bad at all for fully customized menus that match my colors and theme.

we're doing one every other place setting - tucked in the napkin as suggested by the RH - so there a 4x6 size..
