Does anyone have any ideas for how to make up my own menu cards? I love the ribbon idea laced through the top and then having the whole card placed in a folded napkin on the charger

Re: Menu cards
what i'm going to do once we pick our menu is use a tri fold program template this way i can get 3 on a sheet.
then mount them on card stock that is about 1/4'- 1/2' bigger on the sidesfold over the to of the card stock, punch 2 holes about 1' apart in the middle and put a bow

Re: Menu cards
We do have a lot of choices for our menu so a tri fold would be great. Thanks for the tip...Here's pic of what I imagined...I would have a pink bow and navy writing on a white paper...
i ment print out the actual menu from a tri fold template then cut it out this way you have 3 menus to each sheet of paper then mount them to your card stock.
ok you see how there are 3 sections in the above post take each section and mount it to cardstock like these...

Re: Menu cards
I think that idea looks great. I have a question. don't know if I should post separate so forgive me if this is bad etiquette - stil learning
do you always have to do a menu card or do some rhs provide them? do you just do them if you want them to be nicer/fancier?
TIA and sorry if this is hijacking???

Re: Menu cards
some girls have OCD about every thing matching (ME) therefor some of us do our own or have somewhere make them in the same style and colors as the rest of the stuff. Some halls don't supply them either.... I don't belive watermill does.

Re: Menu cards
i'm going to make them myself and have them printed on linen cardstock at kinkos. i should be able to fit 2 menus per page, and they can cut them for you there. i love the ideas for the ribbon and the napkinfold.

Re: Menu cards
This is my DIY rehearsel dinner invitation - can be made into a menu card as well if you change the text.
I bought two shades of cardstock (black and white) and some rhinestone stickers from Michaels. I printed the text on the white paper and then cut and glued the two colors together.
