menu & drink menu

look what I made last night!!

The drink menu is a play on our background
Something old - LI Iced Tea (we're both from LI)
Something new - Boston Sidecar (we're moving to Boston)
Something borrowdd - manhattan ( i work in NYC)
Something blue - Liberty blue champage (in honor of Philly - we used to live there and thats where FH goes to school: liberty - liberty bell --- it's a stretch)

Can anyone think of a drink for Philadelphia???

I've read that this is a popular drink in Philly:

Irish Car Bomb
Irish whiskey & Baileys shot dropped in to Guinness.

Hope that helps. In Philly, there big beer drinkers, or if not that, they love Whiskey and Baileys Irish Cream.

I think Rolling Rock is also from PA...

That's true... but that would even scare me a bit -- they'll get that happy hour mentality of having to drink as many as possible... I want everyone to drink and have a good time, but I don't want people puking in the bathroom -- that happened at our eparty....

Are we related? LOL I think its going to happen no matter what, when people go to weddings they have this consume everything in sight attitude because its 'free' and 'open bar'

but come to think of it, you want something Blue dont ya? To symbolize philly? I dunno, I think the champagne is your best bet! I just googled blue and philly and alcoholic beverages and there is a place there called Blue Ox Brauhaus...maybe they have a specialty drink? but i think the connection might get lost...

LOL! I'm the same way tho, so I really shouldn't knock them for it!
It wouldn't have to be blue -- I could find another blue drink for the honeymoon or something...
