Has anyone finalized their menus? What's the procedure? How far in advance do you do this?

We finalize ours in June for our August wedding. Our menu finalization date is written in our contract. Maybe yours is there too?

I just did mine for our april 28 wedding. In my contract it told us when to call to make the appt,the date said 2/28. I think for most places no more than 2 months before.

i just finalized my menu on thursday for our 04.29.12 wedding.

My RH sends something in the mail to let us know it is time.

Usually a month or two before. FH and I are going next Sunday to finalize ours for our 5/6 wedding.

I was on the phone with the watermill yesterday and that was one of my questions. They told me you can come in 3 months before to pick the menu.

we did our tasting two weeks ago and finalized that day but she said if we wanted to change anything we still have till August and our wedding is on 9/7/12

We selected our menu about 4 weeks prior. Just made an appt. went it and sat with someone and went over the menu and our selections, real easy. This is when we selected our linens as well.

I did mine last night, my wedding is in two months. Ours was really easy and took less than a half hour because we went in with our decisions already made
