If I am having a buffet, am I supposed to make up menus? I want to...just not sure if it would be weird or something?

You do not need menus, but you can make up little cards that sit in front of each station that state what each dish is. Ohterwise, if it's been distributed by the catering company, the server will usually state 'rice pilaf, meatballs, etc.'

I personally wouldn't make up menus for a buffet! I wouldn't make up signs either... I think it looks nicer without signs. (Signs, even nice ones, would make me think 'cafeteria' -- but I have issues )

you dont have to but if you did that would be a nice touch..so people know what is up at the buffet.
