We have our menu meeting at the venue tonight! I'm nervous for some reason, lol! Is there anything I should know, questions I should ask? I have a ton of questions, I'm afraid I'm going to forget something.
Write them all down that's what I did. It helps! I would also go through the menu in advance it makes the meeting run quicker. Don't forget to ask about vegetarian options, or other allergies you know people have. My in laws are vegan so we asked for two meals for them.

Don't forget if you are doing signature drinks that they have the alcohol to make it. We had a weird one that we had to find out if they carry they don't but since we asked far enough a head they said it is absolutely no problem to get it in. If we asked 2 weeks before they said there may have been a problem.

I seriously can't say enough good things about everyone at the east wind! The last few days, I feel like I'm going to have a nervous breakdown, and after tonight's meeting, I feel so much better. (Though that final payment may put me in the loony bin). She answered every question I had, I asked to swap the pasta station/carving board for the mashed potato bar and they did it at no extra charge. I have all my final paperwork to hand in the two weeks before. We made our final two appointments and rehearsal. It's all becoming so real!!!
Whenever a vendor helps to put you at ease, you know you picked the right one! Glad they're helping t make everything less stressful for you! Thats really exciting :)

We originally booked with Jeff but found out halfway through our engagement he was no longer there which was a bit scary since we booked everything with him. We have Michele helping us now and she is awesome!
