What would you rather eat as a guest?

For the Appetizer:
Mozzarella/Tomato/Grilled Veggies over greens w/ Honey mustard vinaigrette
or
Fresh Melon with Exotic Berries

For the Main Course: A plate with all of the following- no choice - Roasted Filet Mignon Entrecote/Chicken Roulade/Shrimp Glace (I have no idea what these mean - all I get out of it is steak/chicken/shrimp)

Or a choice between
Filet Mignon& Chicken Francaise (together) or Poached Salmon.

Also, what is better, Chicken Francaise or Marsala...

As you can tell I'm trying to pick my menu - and my brain is turning to MUSH!

And I prefer Marsala.

I'd avoid the red meat for everyone without a choice -- too many people trying to avoid it for health reasons. Also, do they have a veg. alternative?

B/w chicken fran and marsala it's a tough one b/c both are very good.

Hmmm, I suppose I would go for mozzarella, too.

I would also give them the choice between the beef/chicken and salmon. Some peole don't eat red meat, or can't. I agree that the more choices, the better!

(mostly because I couldn't eat food with shrimp on the plate ICK)

francaise vs. marsala is basically a difference between a white wine and lemon sauce or a red wine type sauce. they are prepared in similar manners, and I love both!

I would do the same as mims - I would NOT do the all on one plate - there are a lot of people with allergies to different foods such as shellfish - so they might be afraid to eat - if they think they will just brush off the shrimp.

By allowing everyone to make their own choice they get what they want and everyone will be happy.

They offer all this on one plate to your guests? Or are these choices for guest to choose from? Are you sure? My reception venue offers six (6) choice of entreés as the main course for our guests to choose from. We didn't need to put it on our RSVP cards since our guests can choose it on the day of the wedding. Personally, IMHO I like this better. What if a guest doesn't feel like having fish two months from now?

I prefer Chicken Marsala.

I like both Francaise or Marsala but if I HAD to pick - I think it would be marsala for me!

HI!! Yes, they put it all (steak/chicken/shrimp) on one plate that they call 'De Gustacion Entree' Everyone gets all three. Or you could choose 'Combinazione' which has 5 steak/chicken dished to choose from (I have to choose 1 beforehand, these are not presented to the guests the day of) and with the Combinazione, the second choice is Poached Salmon.

I've heard rumor that you can get 2 orders of steak or 2 orders of chicken, but only if the guests request this. They don't advertise this option.

I say chicken francaise is better! You don't know who is allergic or doesn't like mushrooms! Personally I HATE mushrooms!!!!!! And who wants to pick through their food!

and i think the combination platter is different- just because I have never seen it before- I am sure if someone is allergice to seafood they can leave that off.

Between the chicken choices I like marsala but I know everyone in my family LOVES francese.

both the chicken marsala and franches are very good there! you can't go wrong!
