Menu question...

Menu question...

So i was wondering...does each person get their own menu or is it okay to do one framed one per table? Our RH doesn't provide them and I am debating b/w getting 1 framed per table that is nicer (i.e. more $!) or getting cheaper ones for each individual guest...thoughts? what are you guys planning on doing?

We are going to get one for each place setting but the last two weddings I went to had two menus per table.

We are going to do one menu per place setting however if you can't do menus, you can just have the waiter tell each guest what the choices are.

At a wedding I was at this summer, they did individual menus, printed and tied in a little scroll with ribbon. It looked nice and a cheap way to do individuals.

My venue provides the menus but I haven't decided if I am going to do my own. I would either do one per couple or two per table. I feel like people end up asking the waiters what is on the menu anyway.

Probably one per place setting

CHCC provides them but I am going to see if I can make my own to pull them into our theme. I was thinking of doing one per person.

While we're on the subject what goes on the menu exactly? Would I have to put a description of the choices because they are giving us 7 and I feel like if I describe everything I will have to use tiny font. Do I put the appetizer, salad, and pasta on also? Do you write something about the VH? Or is every menu different and it's just whatever you want?

I've found plenty of affordable options its not really a money issue, more of an aesthetics question really. I can order like 100 for $38 on vistaprint. I just don't know if I should bother lol our waiters will go to each person and give them the options (salad-pasta-intermezzo-entrees-cake/viennese hour); but i think since the only options they can choose are the entrees that is all i would describe on the menu...Hmmm idk still!

I haven't thought about it but maybe every other place setting. I have to see how they cost first I guess.

I think one per place setting is nicer! Plus you could have them personalized to your colors if you want too

Re: Menu question...

The waiter will go over the choices if neccessary, but its a lot easier and faster for the guest to know already.

I plan on doing 1 pp, but I think at least 2 or 3 per table should be the minimum if you're using them at all. If you don' t have any, everyone will listen to the waiter, but if you have one, everone would rather look at it and it'll prob be annoying.

I plan on having it be simple with the standard things (salad, intermezzo, wedding cake!) but be a little descriptive with the entree choices. Luckily I'm sure all our Rh's do a good job describing them in writing for us, so its copy paste!
