So we picked out our menu yesterday!! I'm so excited! Everyone at SLCC is super accommodating, even with some requests that I thought would be considered crazy. They welcomed everything and went above and beyond! We also went to the bakery to try some cake samples and decided on a flavor!
So my next step is ordering menus. I feel like it's a waste of paper and money to order 1 menu per person. Have any of you ladies decided to display just a few menus per table? I'm toying with the idea. I know when I go to weddings I look at the menu for like 30 seconds. Thoughts? Has anyone done this?

One per couple is a good idea. Every wedding we've ever been to, FH never even looks at the menu, I always pick for him.

Isn't your venue doing your menus for you?

What did you pick for your stations? We have a ton of time until we have to pick but I'm already looking to get everything in order LOL

How much are you willing to spend? We got 125 menus though an awesome Etsy shop and it was only $110 and they were printed. Let me know if you want me to FM you with her name :)

Well the venue does print menus, but it's one per table and they frame it, I'm just deciding if I want to spend the money on ordering more... I'll probably put it towards something else.
Haha, well we got an Indian Food station and then we did the American station. And I can't even remember everything there were so many choices, but I will say, they will literally do anything you want! They are awesome!

One wedding I went to had a menu per couple, another wedding had 2 menus on a table on a little stand which I think worked the best because like you said you literally look at it for a few seconds and pass it along

Yeah, I think having 1 or 2 depending on the size of the table should be enough. That way you have them, but you can save the money of printing one for everyone.

I don't feel like its necessary, if you wanna add one more per table that that works. If not they will do just fine with one. lol

Hi All!
Just wanted to drop the hint that I'm a full-time graphic designer (with two years of experience in event stationery) and I design menus as well. My price point varies, but is about the same as you've described above.
Let me know as I'm saving for my own wedding and if you want to support a fellow LI bride!
