This is our issue, we have many tables with several single people. So we'll have, let's say, 4 couples and 3 singles. Should I really have 7 menus - one per couple and one for each single? OR should I just count them one every two people, regardless if they're in a couple or not?
Such a stoooopid question but I stress about nothing usually- very typical for me! My other issue is that I don't have enough cardstock in the color I have...and can't seem to find 10 more pieces that I need unless I travel over LI!!
TIA!

Re: Menus- does it have to be one per couple?
You know what, I was thinking the same thing.. what about the single people?? That's why I don't think I'll do one per couple.
I have no idea, I haven't made my menus yet BUT I think either make one per place setting, or make a few for the entire table and maybe put them in the center.
Sorry I'm not more helpful!!!

I would do one per person, as it looks more proper, single people get insulted when the bride and groom do not includ them as an entire single person, but then again if you only have a handful of singles its your judgement call. I have been at quite a few weddings where it had seemed to cause a bit of a stir......Good luck with all your planning.

My RH told be not to do per person they said it looks too crowded on the table. They suggested doing 4 per table. THey said this was plenty. I am doing it this way because it is less work! :)

4 per table - sounds PERFECT to me! And I think it'll be too crowded anyway with my BIG A SS favors! Those 20 oz mugs are HUUUGE.
I love it! Thanks!!

I was planning to do 1 menu per plate/person. That way each person has their own menu tucked into the napkin at their place setting. Now I just have to figure out how to make them!

Originally I was going to get little easel's and do two per table.....but then I thought about it and thought some people might not even notice them....so I'm going to do one per person and just have it on each plate.

I work in a restaurant where we do tons of parties...when ever menus are necessary I usually do 4 per table of 12....one facing each direction in the middle...probably do the same at the wedding!

My RH does 2 menus per table. That's also a good way to get people at the same table to talk to each other.

Tara I did 1 per place setting. I think just because I got DIY happy, but I think 4 would be plenty. I just had them cut yesterday and the person that did it for me didn't cut them evenly Now I'm not sure if I'll even use them.

This is what I was going to say -- just do a set number per table. 4 is fine.

We are only having 100 guests or less so we are doing one per place setting.

Re: Menus- does it have to be one per couple?
I was planning on doing menus, but then my coordinator at the reception hall told me not to bother, saying that it will be hard to read due to candle light and it takes up room on the table..however, I might just do one per table, I have seen that before, they are usually in picture frames....JMO.

I think I may do 2 or 3 per table in a frame. I think one per person might be alittle crowded with everything else on the table...flowers..candles....favors.....wine /water glasses
