Soooo I just went to Michaels and bought alottttt of cardstock paper to DIY my menus (I'm not obviously making them anytime soon, just trying to get little stuff bought). I've seen a few people lately have a few menus per table, and not give 1 per guest. Is anyone doing this? Anyone think this is a bad idea?

i would say one per couple is better.. kind of annoying to have to share one menu with whole table.. JMO

A few menus per table sounds great to me. I think it is fine to have them be passed around rather than at each table.

I agree that there's no need for 1/person, but I like more than just 1 per table; maybe one per couple, or per every 3 people

I think (some?) most RHs do, but a lot of people like to personalize them.
I'm probably going to do 1 per person, to answer the OP.

Well, CLM charges I think $175 to do the menus for us. I can make them myself for like $50
IF THEY ARE BIG I WOULD DO 2 PER TABLE - IF THEY ARE SMALLER I WOULD DO ONE PER COUPLE OR PER PERSON...

I would do 1 for every 3-4 people at least..if it's only 1 per table most people will not see it
Matter of fact the wedding I went to did not have menus at all and it was difficult to hear the waiter with the music and talking and he had to keep repeating himself

We paid a private printer to have our menus done & I hot-glued mini seashells at the top to give them that 3D beachy feel. We did one per guest b/c we slid them into our own satin napkins (see pic). It's a personal choice - but I like being able to have my own menu & not have to ask someone else to see theirs. It's esp uncomfortable when you have a table w/ a few couples together that dont really know one another...but that's JMHO.
