Hi Girls.. Im having a hard time deciding between these two dresses and stlyes. I love the mermaid soo much b/c its sexy and glamorous. I love the foofy one b/c it is sweet and romantique. I attached a pic of myself so you can help me decide which will look better with my skin, hair and body shape. I am 5'7 with curves! heehee Thanks so much!!!
they will BOTH look good on you. This is a very personal decision based on what you prefer. I also love the skinny sexy mermaid gown style but i went with the big foofy dress b/c it just made me feel more like a bride and more regal It all depends on how the dress makes you feel when you try it on.

I love the first one but Im partial to the shape-I tried ona few like that and they looked awesome with curvier, taller figures (shorter girls cant pull it off) but I opted for a modified A because my wedding was originally supposed to be in the Cribbean and I thought a simpler silhouette was better.
I think you have the body type for the first one and it will look favulous. But it depends the look you want, as others have said. If you want a Cinderellaesque look, do the second one.
I will say this: Think about comofrt as well. mermiad gowns do not breathe much and they sling to every inch of you, which means you will think diet 24-7. You also may not be able to dance as comofrtably or eat as much and hey, you're paying for it so you should!

my personal choice is the tulle ... that is what my dress is and i love it but you def have the figure for the first one .. so i agree it is your decision on what you think is better for you ....

why don't you let the tone of the wedding decide your dress. is your wedding elegant and modern, or traditional. i'm not a princess and never pictured my wedding as being very traditional. so i didn't even bother looking at ball gowns. too pretty princess for me. i think you'll look stunning in the mermaid.

Have you tried them on? You'll never know what looks best until you go try on a lot of different styles. I'm sure you'll look great in anything, but go see what looks and feels best on you!

I think you should definitely go with the mermaid style. That would look so good on you. JMO. You have the shape for it. I think it will so good on you.

You a great figure anything will look good on you.
Although, I am partial to ballgowns both dresses are beautiful!!! I personally like a more romantic sweet look for a bride but that is just my opinion!!

i love ballgowns ( had one too) but I'm not a fan of tulle for the ballgown part.. so I would go for the 1st one.

They are both pretty. I voted for the mermaid- thats what I would choose for myself. But you must try them both on. I am also curvey and I think that both would be okay with my body type- yours looks somewhat similar to mine so Im comparing! :) Goodluck!!!
