met w. the priest!
Just thought I would give an update....We met w. the priest at St. Patricks Cathedral. It was fine. Sonic - we are not going to use the chapel although it was so pretty - I am just concerned that too many people will show...and it only holds 100. We are using the main altar.
The monsignor was fine. Very 'churchy' as most of you Catholic brides will know what that means...a little cold but very professional. We are getting married at 3:00 which should leave us enough time as they dont' allow for a receiving line. They have a million rules, but I am just trying to keep in mind that the cathedral was built from love and faith, and the rules are just what they need to stick to for 'modern day' reasons.
So - anybody in the area on the 9th of November at 3 - please feel free to come witness our union! My florist was good enough to delete the ceremony flowers at Oheka and offered the delivery of bouquets and mens' flowers for $50 - so kudos to Fleurs de Florissima. She was totally understanding...
