Met with Body rock
For those of you who used them, or are using them, are you having the guy who sings like Sinatra sing during dinner? They offer this guy mike something who sounds just like Sinatra. I think it would be a nice touch. Just looking for feedback, and if anyone can tell me more about this guy who sings like Sinatra that would be great! Thanks!

Re: Met with Body rock
A friend of ours used them and the Sinatra guy was totally awesome. I had to keep looking because I didn't believe it was him. They were the best DJs I've ever heard. Could you tell me what they're currently charging? Thanks!!

Re: Met with Body rock
I think the base price is around 1300, but the sinatra guy is 650$ for 30 minutes. He sounds worth it though!

Re: Met with Body rock
I'd say he's definitely worth every penny. He made it seem like a classy lounge during dinner. IMO you get the best of both worlds - band and DJ.Good Luck!

Re: Met with Body rock
Here's the problem, I am not totally sold on the DJ's, because I wont even know who I would be getting until 6 weeks before. But I love the idea of the sinatra guy singing during dinner! Very classy I would think...AHHHHH I hate wedding decisions!

Re: Met with Body rock
I booked Body Rock for my 7/4/03 wedding and I also booked the Sinatra singer. They showed us a couple of tapes of him and he was incredible! We booked on the spot. We also booked a small light show.

Re: Met with Body rock
I've been to several weddings where Body Rock was the DJ and they were fantastic!!! They had everyone up on the dancefloor the minute they started playing. I'm in a wedding tomorrow at Fox Hollow and they are having Body Rock. I haven't seen the Frank Sinatra guy but my friend is having something like a live Percussionist with the DJ (or something like that??). I will let you know how that is. I can't wait to hear them again! I would highly recommend them.

Re: Met with Body rock
im sorry to say but i have a body rock horror story! back in march we had our engagement party at jericho terrace and as some may know they are there house dj and the highly recommened them to us! so we went down to there office and saw that they were very professional and liked what they had to offer, thought they were a little pricey but then again so is everything else so we booked them! i was so excited because i haerd nothing but great things about this company so i figured hey they must be awesome so its worth the money! well during the party a speaker blew so everything was all muffled and they didnt do anything to try and fix it then the mc was given a songlist but he took it upon himself not to use it. mind you this is an italian american party so i needed some italian music to be played, the only thing he came colse to was the tarrantella and he even messed that up! strike 3 was the percussionist that we spent extra for was terrible- save your money! so your probably saying ok accidents happen because i said that too but when we recieved our professional video you cannot even hear the music after the part where the speaker blew out. i was devasted! not only was they party muffled now so is the video! when we confronted the company they wouldnt do anything about it, now for $2250 you tell me you wouldnt be the least bit upset! im sorry if i upset anyone but the only reason i wrote this was to warn anyone who was thinking about them! if you are looking for a great dj i totally recommend satisfaction gaurenteed...speak to anthony the owner! great company you wont be dissapointed im sorry that we didnt use them!!! good lick to everyone!
