ooh that is quite a deal! Ours is $500. We met with our deacon on Sunday for the first time. He was so nice. It was quite a relief to have that done.

oh i loved our Deacon we met him briefly during pre-cana, but he is so funny and a really nice guy ... he said the church doesn't allow anything to be thrown outside ( rice, birdseed etc.) but he said throw what you want.. i'll just tell them i told them not to

We're allowed to throw birdseed, but our church said that we can't throw petals inside! I was seriously bummed about this. My flower girl is so cute and funny and I know she would have been flinging flowers all over the aisle. UGHH! Good for you that you your deacon is bending the rules a little.
I think we are doing pre-cana in January. Have to wait and hear if we got accepted into it. We just put the registration in yesterday.
