Met with Royalty Limos
In the event that some people haven't booked their limos yet - just thought I'd pass along some info about my meeting with Royalty Limos.
They are located on Franklin Ave in Franklin Square and they have pretty much all of their cars on sight - so you can see all of their classic cars and limos on the day that you visit - which was great. My mom, dad and I went to the company and I was pretty sure that I wanted the 1941 Buick plus a 14 passenger limo, but I was open to looking at other options. Tom, the Royaly employee, took us to all the classic cars and didn't rush us at all and didn't try to push any one car on us. I ended up going with the Buick but there are plenty of Rolls Royces, a 1939 Cadillac (my second choice), and a bunch of really cool cars - whose names I cant remember.
Tom gave us a $100 gift certificate, which we appreciated. Manny (owner) was busy so we agreed to get some dinner and then return to the office. When we sat down with Manny, he went through all of the necessary terms of the contract - then he totaled up the order. He then took 100 dollars off the order because we had the coupon, then took another 50 dollars off the order because we came back to the offices after dinner, then took another 50 dollars off because I am getting married in December, which is off season. And he's sending a towncar or limo to pick us up after the reception.
I'm not really a 'car person' so this was a vendor I kept putting off, but everyone was so nice and knowledgable (I had some questions about driving these cars in inclement Winter weather) that this became one of the most pleasant vendor experiences in the whole wedding planning process. So if anyone is still looking - you might want to check them out.![]()
