Met with the Priest

I'm so excited that we met with the priest at our Parish!!! We aren't getting married until 4/05 so we have a while but we did go ahead and secure a 10:30 wedding ceromony time for our upcoming event We think we are going to do just the 1/2 ceremony instead of the hour nuptual mass, really because of timing issues. Our cocktail Hour starts at 1:00 so I want to leave us plenty of time for pics. Just wanted to share...

That is great. I wanted to meet with my Priest right away so I could find out the info for Pre-Cana and have plenty of time to plan.

Hey Laura, I see that you are getting married at Westbury Manor...I'm getting married at Fox Hollow, also owned by the Scotto Bros. How has your experience with the hall/vendors been so far? Any recommendations?

Scotto Brothers

I just noticed you replied to my post when I wrote congrats about meeting with the Priest. Sorry I didn't see it. My planning has gone very smoothly so far.

I think the Scottos have a great reputation for service, food and personal attention.

I have booked all my major vendors so if you need any info - just ask.

And I didn't notice before but now I see you are getting married at Fox Hollow. You will not be disappointed. I went to a wedding there last summer and it was incredible. It was because of that wedding that when FI and I got engaged we said we are looking at the Scotto Brother places first. He always raves about that wedding and how they had the best wedding cake he ever had. And he is very picky!

FI and I met with the Priest last night. It went pretty smoothly, thank GOD b/c I was soooo nervous. The only thing that concerned me was that the Church has so many other different functions on Sundays, which is the day we want it to be, I get scared that the people there before us wont leave before we get there. Oh well, it will all work out in the end I hope. We didnt secure an exact date but the ones we are looking at seem to be open in the afternoon so we will get back to him next week when we meet again with the halls for availability and pricing. It all starts to come together now.
